Winter Festival returns to Blackheath this August

The Blackheath Rhododendron Festival returns this August, bringing together the community for a celebration of the district's famous cool-climate gardens and natural beauty.

The festival features weekend markets, live music, guided garden walks and family activities across the town. It is one of the Blue Mountains' most loved annual events and draws visitors from across the region.

New members welcomed to the Chamber

The Chamber is pleased to welcome a number of new member businesses this quarter. The new members represent a range of industries including hospitality, trades and tourism.

Grand Canyon track reopens after maintenance

The Grand Canyon walking track has reopened following its annual maintenance closure. The track, one of the most popular in the Blue Mountains, is now in excellent condition for the winter walking season.

The Grand Canyon circuit takes walkers through ancient rainforest, past waterfalls and along the base of dramatic sandstone cliffs. It is accessible from Neates Glen car park on Evans Lookout Road.

Visitors are reminded to carry water, wear appropriate footwear and check conditions with the National Parks and Wildlife Service before setting out.
